... last known working Stereotool-Version downgraded to 7.40. All versions of Stereotool after this are causing little clipping distortions, especially with piano music. 7.70 has the least clipping distortions, after that it becomes even more prominent.

Several requests to fix this were unsuccessfull, so these settings will be only compatible until 7.40.

To use new features you have to set up an effect chain, where the current version of Stereotool comes first (to use the repair options for example) and then Stereotool 7.40 with one of the Maximizer presets comes next:

Thanks for these, been using Remaster preset for my random music compilations (after applying Replay Gain) and it works like a charm.

- "Remaster": Better punch for bass drum

Thank you for these presets. using the dry from station playlist then into new version of stereo tool with different presets and it sounds great!

- "Talk Podcast" - Closer to radio voice processing, slight stereo image
- "Shellac": New experimental preset to emulate the sound of 1920-30s shellac
- "Protracker MOD": Less distortions in the stereo image
- "Golden Punch": Finetune bass, optimization for command line use (less aggressive initial compression)
- "60s Stereo": Less distortions and finetune compression
