Well i just got the Stereo Tool plugin and Im very surprised of all the options and especially the FM RDS panel. Its awesome! Iv been useing Airomate till now, but this is far much better.
I broadcast on air via 6W FM transmitter (Stereo PLL+3 amps 2W each) and over the internet with Oddcas plugin+shoutcast server hosted on Linux.. I combine both your StereoTool and the Oddcast with MuchFx2 =) My cpu is AMD Athlon dual core 64 x2 4600+, Cpu usage is around 7 ~ 11% with the program running.

Thanks for your settings!

I noticed that your soundcard is "Realtek HD Audio output" - can you give me the type of your Realtek card? (I've had reports from others that with their Realtek HD output RDS didn't work, and stereo worked only partially).

And here's the Audio card settings you need to do. Otherwise you will hear loud and unplesent noises and NO RDS.

Ok - is that in Vista or in XP? (I know that cards need to be set to 192 kHz in Vista - usually in XP they adapt automatically...)

Windows XP service pack 2 non-moded (original ISO version)
When I first installed the Audio drivers and apps, they were auto-set to 44,1khz instead of 192 like now.. So probebly people with similar audio cards need to set it at 192 to get the RDS work =)

By the way, I noticed that you have "Pre-emphasized output" turned off. I think it should be turned on - otherwise the sound will contain far too little high frequencies.

Hm well id say its too much high freq when its turned on. Maybe it depends what traismiter is in use, dunno, but if I turn it on its too high and fussy. Would be great if they were shrinked to half of what is now.

Ok - assuming that your transmitter does _not_ perform FM pre-emphasis (if it does, the stereo and RDS signal would be far too strong), the best way to get the correct settings is:
- 1. Create good settings, NOT using pre-emphasis Output, listening on your sound card
- 2. Turn pre-emphasis Output on, and send the signal through your FM transmitter
Both _should_ normally give the same sound (the first on the sound card, the second on the FM receiver).

When I listen to your signal it sounds ok here - with pre-emphasis Output turned on using an FM transmitter. You could try to find out if your FM transmitter is pre-emphasizing - if it is and you can turn it off, it will probably give you a much better sound.

And yeah i enhanche the signal with an amplifier =)
About the pre-emphasizing, I believe my transmiter doesnt have it, because I tried your suggestion (to turn it off ) and yeah, the sound was almost the same, but when i switch it to 50 (Europe) it looks like bit better.

Edit: replaced link to the transmitter with a working one.
