I've used settings from pthompson3, and I'm wondering if these updated settings are automatically included in the latest versions of Stereo Tool, or if we need to download these individually and import them into the product? |

Profile VARIATION ST Type: Standalone ST Version: 8.52 ST Licence: Pro (Everything) + new Auto EQ ST Profile: ST_852_v1 - Aussie - Breaking Dreams (~9dBr) (FM).sts ST Dest: FM Output or Stream Typical Top 40 Short LKFS: -6 Profile Design Objective: To be EXTRA LOUD at the expensive of dynamics Profile Risks: Maybe too loud for some markets. Profile Use: Top 40, Rock. This is a variation. Feedback on the heavy bass from listeners would be most beneficial.

Profile Modification for Bass Eq - its LOUD.. ST Type: Standalone ST Version: 8.55 Beta008 ST Licence: Pro (Everything) + new Auto EQ ST Profile: ST_855_v1.03 (with BassEQ) - Breaking Dreams (~9dBr).sts ST Dest: FM Output HPON or LPON, (Not too sure about a stream though) Typical Top 40 Short LKFS: -4.0 Profile Use: Top 40, Rock, any Bassy music. Couldn't help myself, I had to play with perfection with the new Bass Eq feature. Want a loudness/clarity war, you might want to have a listen here. Has come up about 1.5db in peak loudness. So whats suffered...loudness added at the expense of some dynamic and bass relaxation. Its definetly more busy sounding and if your in a FM market that has this, then give this a try. Enjoy.

Profile Modification for Bass Eq - better Dynamics & Bass over time ST Type: Standalone ST Version: 8.55 Beta008 ST Licence: Pro (Everything) + new Auto EQ ST Profile: ST_855_v2.1 (with BassEQ 19122017) - Breaking Dreams (~8dBr).sts ST Dest: FM Output HPON or LPON, Stream Typical Top 40 Short LKFS: -6.0 Profile Use: Top 40, Rock, any Bassy music. OK, never say finished with a ST profile.. Includes numerous changes, too many to list. This profile will not initially sound as loud if you change from another... initially. Its been built to have dynamics and a bassy beat, for long term listening time without fatigue. MPX power will vary more with this profile due to dynamics of the source. Be patient with this version of the profile, it will grow on you. The idea is to have more bass personality. It is more like the finished version, but not as bright with more rolled mids & top ends, which makes it sound more like other market audio processors... As I said, listen for a while, it does grow on you.

Here is a very DRAFT version of Breaking Dreams with some refinements with the new Bass Clipper... MOJO Bass is what I'd love to call it... just couldn't quite convince HVZ... Have knocked this together very very quickly whilst in the office knocking out some paperwork and listening to audio in the background in FM decode mode. The idea of the bass is around a Cat's Purr that I'm trying to achieve, with a comforting 22-23Hz intermodulated purr. This profile is not finished, its muddy in the mids and top, but you will be able to hear the MOJO bass purr that I'm hoping will give a few others some ideas. I would not go to air with this profile, like I said, its for education. Profile Modification for Bass Clipper ST Type: Standalone ST Version: 9.00 Beta074 ST Licence: Pro (Everything) + new Auto EQ ST Profile: ST_900_BETA074_v3.1 (DRAFT BassClipper 27052018) - Breaking Dreams (~8dBr).sts ST Dest: FM Output HPON or LPON, Stream Typical Top 40 Short LKFS: -5.5 Profile Use: Top 40, Rock, any Bassy music.

WOWA - TURN IT UP LOUD... Here is Breaking Dreams, with MOJO Bass Purr. Maybe I should of called this breaking hearts.. I've backed the MOJO off, as had the bass speakers walking around the floor that they have NEVER done before with ST... This should be good to go to Air with in a testing only face (ST is beta remember)... Feedback please much appreciated. ST Type: Standalone ST Version: 9.00 Beta077 ST Licence: Pro (Everything) + new Auto EQ ST Profile: AUSSIE_ST900_B077_v3.15_Breaking_Dreams_(NaughtyBassClipper&LoudClipper_01062018_~7dBr).sts ST Dest: FM Output HPON or LPON, Stream Typical Top 40 Short LKFS: -6.0 Profile Use: Top 40, Rock, any station wanting to sound BIG.

Have made some quick changes to Breaking Dreams with BETA080, and now have a demo stream to listen whilst driving around... Its currently designed to be loud, with LKFS around -6.5lkfs. Note, this is the FM Decoded output... Stream/HD/DAB is even better. Comments on the Bass please.
